Extra Life was born from a deeply personal story. The program was started after an Orange, Texas, radio station connected with Victoria, a young girl battling leukemia. After four years and several relapses, Victoria lost her battle. Her story moved founder Jeromy Adams to create something lasting in her honor, and Extra Life became a way for gamers, everywhere to raise money to help out.

What Extra Life Is Trying to Achieve

More than 12 million kids enter Children's Miracle Network Hospitals across the U.S. and Canada every year. The funds raised go directly toward things these kids need the most including critical life-saving treatments, vital medical equipment, child life services that support families during difficult hospital stays, and financial assistance for families who could not otherwise afford care.

Since its founding, Extra Life has raised more than $145 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring children receive the best care possible no matter where they live or their family's ability to pay.
