7 Numbers That Explain LvlUp's Retro Giveaway

One Grand Prize, five prize items, ten entries per mail-in card and two key dates, each checked against the Official Rules. Entries close November 19.

Giveaway pages are full of big words and bigger photos. This one is just numbers. Seven of them, each checked against the Official Rules or the giveaway page, each with a plain explanation of what it does and does not tell you.

The giveaway is LvlUp's Retro prize: a custom PC setup and a retro console bundle, or cash. Here are the seven numbers, in order.

One of seven1: the Grand Prize

The Official Rules say there will be one Grand Prize and so one winner. If a potential winner is disqualified, the rules let the Sponsor choose an alternate.

Two of seven2: choices for the winner

Once the Administrator confirms eligibility, the winner has two options: the prize package, or a $10,000 cash award. The word the rules use is choice, so the winner makes the call.

The package carries a maximum approximate retail value (ARV) of $16,000. ARV is the Sponsor's good-faith estimate, and if the actual value is lower when the prize is bought, the difference is not paid out.

Three of seven5: items in the prize description

Count the items in the Official Rules' prize sentence and you get five: the PC, the monitor, the joystick and keyboard, the mouse and the console bundle, as listed. The joystick and keyboard share a single line.

Four of seven32: gigabytes on the graphics card

The page lists a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card carrying 32GB of GDDR7. It sits beside two more storage and memory sizes on the same page: 64GB of DDR5 RGB system memory and a 4TB Gen5 NVMe SSD. The processor is an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D that the page calls a 16-core chip.

These are the page's numbers, not a promise about any speed in your own games.

Five of seven10: entries per mail-in card

A free mail-in entry is worth ten sweepstakes entries. Write your full name, address, phone number, date of birth and email by hand on a 3" x 5" card or paper, put it in a #10 envelope with postage, and mail it to the address in the Official Rules. Each envelope has to be mailed on its own.

Entries must be hand-printed by the entrant. Bulk shipments are not accepted.

Six of sevenNov 19: the day entries close

The sweepstakes opened at 12:00:01 p.m. ET on October 16, 2026. Entries close November 19, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. Mail-in entries have two dates to hit: postmarked by November 19, and received by November 23.

Seven of sevenNov 24: the drawing

The Administrator, American Sweepstakes & Promotion Co., Inc., runs a random drawing. It is set for on or about November 24, 2026. Your odds depend on how many eligible entries come in during the sweepstakes period. The rules give no winner announcement date.

The fine print, in plain EnglishHow entering works

Members are entered automatically. An active LvlUp membership includes automatic entry into every LvlUp giveaway, alongside the other member benefits.

Anyone can enter for free. Mail a hand-printed 3" x 5" card as described in the Official Rules. Each mail-in entry counts as 10 entries. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by November 19, 2026 and received by November 23, 2026.

Paying never improves your odds. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning, and odds depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Common questions

Are these numbers the same on the giveaway page and in the Official Rules?

The prize contents and dates here come from the Official Rules. Hardware sizes such as 32GB and 4TB come from the giveaway page. Where the two differ, the Official Rules win.

Does a bigger purchase mean a bigger chance?

The Official Rules say a purchase or payment of money will not improve your chances of winning. Odds depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

Why does the mail-in entry count as ten?

The Official Rules set the value of each mail-in entry at ten sweepstakes entries. They do not say why.

Is the cash amount the same as the prize value?

No. The cash award is $10,000, and the package has a maximum ARV of $16,000. The winner chooses one or the other.

Does the number of consoles appear anywhere in the rules?

No. The Official Rules name a "Retro Console & Games Bundle" and give no count, so this page gives none.
